Time for something sweet! Let me share with you my favorite brownie which I baked just this afternoon. The recipe is from pastry chef Gail Gand. This one bowl brownie recipe always turns out rich, moist and perfect everytime! I love it simple and unglazed. You can print the recipe here from the Food Network website.

Fudgy Brownies

1/2 stick unsalted butter
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Melt the butter and chocolate together in a medium pan over very low heat. Stir together and remove from the heat.

3. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in the flour and salt. Add nuts. Spread the mixture into a buttered 8-inch square pan. Bake until set, about 40 minutes. Cool before cutting.

It's also 99 days before Christmas! For the coming weeks and months, I'll be posting special features, gift guides and promos from some of my favorite ETSY shops plus sweet, sponsor giveaways! I warmly welcome sponsor giveaways from shops who are in the crafts/handmade/DIY/design and inspiration genre. In exchange, giveaway sponsors will avail of a special blog feature highlighting their shops and products, 2-month ad space, twitter updates, gift guide suggestions. Totally no fees involved. Shops who are interested in this opportunity may drop me an email at moxygirl(at)gmail.com.
