Grandma and the moon

"The feeling of love is the same feeling that you get when you stare into the moon on a clear night."

Waning moon: Symbolic of letting go, surrender, release, quiet time, contemplation, and a time of incubation

Staring at the amber, waning moon tonight and  taking a photo of it for posterity. Thinking of my grandma who passed on yesterday. She would have been 100 years old tomorrow.  I will miss her terribly.

  3. My heart goes out to you. When my grandfather passed many years ago, he told my grandmother that he would be waiting for just behind the moon. Then, when she passed a few years ago, the moon was large and bright and orange and seemed so very close to the Earth. It was beautiful. Now when I look up at the moon, I know they are up there watching over me.
