Rosie Cheeks and Bottled Buttons

by - Tuesday, April 05, 2011

Meet Miss Rosie! She's another rag doll I made from the book Sew It, Stuff It: Cut, Stitch and Sew 25 Adorable Soft Toys by Robert Merret.  Previously I've made Calvin the Kitty Cat from the same book. I love the patterns and projects so much that  I can imagine myself making all of the 25 soft toys. I highly recommend this book!

You can also make Rosie the Rag Doll from a sample free pattern from  Woman's Day.

I've been organizing my craft supplies and I've found a cute way to recycle those cute soy milk glass bottles. With a touch of deco lace tape these bottles become cute vessels for storing buttons, tiny clothespins, crayons and whatnot.
