Handmade Fashion

I bought a few Japanese craft books on DIY clothes sewing. I've pretty much grown weary of sewing softies. I think it's time to move on and learn a new sewing skill. I'm excited to make a handmade skirt as my first project.

Stylelist has some fabulous DIY design tips for people who want to make their own clothes.
Burdastyle is also a great resource for people who love DIY fashion. Check out the pattern section as well as project inspirations.

  1. Hurrah for your industriousness!
It's also nifty that you have some Japanese sewing books - some designs are just too cute for words. I've recently become interested in mori girl style, and found some related blogs to subscribe to this weekend.
Best of luck with your sewing! I am sure you will have lots of fun :)
