My old recipe notebook was already filled to the brim and so I got myself a new one. My new notebook is an ordinary journal which I covered with kraft paper for a handmade look. I decorated it with random point stickers, deco fabric tape and rubber stamps. It looks totally un-coordinated but I love it. I will be sharing recipes from it soon. :)

Specific emotions that weaken organs in the body:
ANGER weakens the liver,
GRIEF weakens the lungs,
WORRY weakens the stomach,
STRESS weakens the heart and brain,
FEAR fails the kidney.
Pass from all these and you will be well. So stay happy! Look good, feel good and do good!

I didn't know Korean craft/sewing books are just as kawaii as their Japanese counterpart. I do own a shelf-ful of Japanese craft books but unfortunately I just enjoy looking at the projects instead of making them. Honestly, these Korean craft projects are the type of stuff I would like to sew. ^-^

My lovely friend April over at Designs of Artisan has wonderful DIY tips on how to keep your scissors and craft punchers at their sharpest best. Try her scissor sharpening tutorial and her tip on how to maintain craft punchers.
I don't have any personal craft tool tip to share but if you head over to Picmonkey you will be able to add cute handmade style border frames to your photos and images without the use of any fun cut craft scissors. Now that is what I call fearless photo embetterment.
Have a happy weekend sweetlings!

Everybody loves the cute, casual look of chalkboard. However it's hard to recreate this look if you don't have special chalkboard decals/stickers or chalkboard paint to begin with. My solution to the problem? Make faux chalkboard organizer labels! Unlike the real thing, this sticker version won't fade or get wiped away.
Print, cut and stick these labels on the organizing containers of your choice--plastic, metal, clear glass or kraft boxes. Your space will be looking pretty snazzy!

I've been eyeing Tweety Atelier's 뜨위티 아트리에 clever origami DIY tutorials for quite some time. Origami was the first ever arts and crafts hobby I was introduced to when I was around 4-5 years old thanks to a grandma who often supplied me with kindergarten craft booklets and supplies.
I found some contemporary 6"x 6" printed paper stacks in a local stationery store I thought they'd be perfect for Tweety's origami projects. My first project was this easy and extremely useful origami bookmark/page marker. The bookmarks are great for organizing divider notebooks and keeping favorite pages in tab.
Happy Friday!

If you love a crispy pizza crust you will love this recipe from Pizza! (Delicious Recipes for Toppings and Crusts for all Pizza Lovers) by Pippa Cuthbert and Lindsay Cameron Wilson. Just roll out the dough extra thin for extra crunchiness.
CRISPY PIZZA CRUST
- 4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) lukewarm water
- 4 1/2 cups (500 grams) all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
1. Sprinkle the yeast into 1/2 cup water. Dissolve for 5-10 minutes. Add about 2 Tbsp of the flour and mix to a smooth paste, then stir in the remaining water. Cover and leave the yeast mixture for about 30 minutes or until it is bubbling or foamy.
2. Combine the flour (reserve 2 Tbsp for kneading) and salt in a large bowl and make a well in the center. Pour in the yeast liquid. Using a wooden spoon, work the ingredients together by pulling the flour into the liquid until it comes together.
3. Use your hands to transfer the mixture to a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for 10 minutes or until it is smooth and elastic. Form the dough into a ball. Leave to rise under a clean tea towel for about 1 1/2-2 hours or until doubled in size.
4. Punch down the dough and knead for a couple of minutes. Divide into four balls. Press each dough ball out flat and using a floured rolling pin, shape into a 10-12 inch diameter circle. Using your knuckles, press just inside the edges to raise them slightly. Leave to rest for 10-15 minutes. Preheat oven to 475F/240C.
5. Ad your toppings . Cook in the middle of the oven for 10-120 minutes or until crispy and golden and the base is cooked.
