DIY Deco fabric tape clothespin magnet tutorial

by - Wednesday, February 01, 2012

Dotted red or polka dot red is my favorite fabric pattern and I love using it for craft projects such as coffee coaster, iPod cozy, Tilda kitchen pixie and last minute valentine cards. Recently, I've come across Creature Comforts' Fancy Clothespin DIY Tutorial.  I figured that I could use fabric tape directly instead of fabric scraps and glue. It would make the process a whole lot easier. Affixing a magnet tablet at the back of the clothespin would also make it multi-purpose. I could use it to clip and display notes, reminders and recipes on the refrigerator or memo board.

Wooden clothespins
Fabric tape in desired pattern or print
Magnet tablets
Glue gun and glue stick

1.  Measure the size of the clothespin against the fabric tape. Trim edges.
2. Peel fabric tape and stick to surface of wooden clothespin.
3. Using glue gun and glue stick, attach a piece of magnet tablet at the back of the deco clothespin.
3. You're done!
